Put the Giga-Byte GA-8IHXP motherboard in to see if my new RAMBUS memory would work with it and so far it works like a charm.
Check out the new speeds...

Should have my new abit IT7max 2 version 2 and swift tech heatsink tomorrow. Me soooo happy to be able to get this soyo OUT and to begin overclocking.

no change in 3dmark. in order for me to attempt to get a higher score i would have to install a bunch of tweaking programs and i dont really want to do that again. last time it really screwed stuff up.

It does in this sense.
I can see the problem of making a post in thread, hitting submit, and then making another post continuing the same conversation. That is a no-no.
In my case, I posted in the morning answering a previous question and then posted later in the day making a suggestion to someone else in the same thread. I don't see this as being spam. Just adding to the various conversations going on in the thread.
However, if you think that I should go back and edit posts adding totaly unrelated information to a post to save whatever it is your trying to save then so be it. Don't blame me if someone misses something.
