So I went to bed at 11:00 pm like normal... SPAMIts now 12:32 and I still cannot fall asleep! SPAMThis happens to me all the time. SPAMI often spend hours just lieing in my bed not able to fall asleep. SPAMDoes anyone have any tips or suggestions for me? SPAMI have tried everything I could think off, staying up later, going to bed earlier, playing music, making it warmer or colder.
The worst part is that when I cannot fall asleep and cannot wake up early. SPAMI sleep right through two LOUD alarm clocks. SPAMEven if I went to bed at 6:00 i would no be able to wake up on time. SPAMMaybe I am a vampire or something.
If anyone has any serious tips for me just let me know!
Thanks

Sounds like both of you need to get a life. You need some relaxing extra cirricular activities. Try fishing or tennis. Something that is non-techie. I like to read books-murder mysteries. There are some that you take you through real life murders to solve and some that are pure fiction.

I've tried banging it against the wall, only helps for an hour, till I wake up an hour later and am not able to go to sleep cause of the headache SPAM:o
A simple remedy, go to any health food store, Walmarts etc, where vitamins and food supplements are sold , get a bottle of :
Melatonin 300 mcg.
Take 1 or 2 about 30 mins to an hour before you go to bed. You will sleep like a baby, no side effects, non habit forming, it just turns off you brain, next day you will feel great. SPAM
You can take daily without any problems.

Usually a couple of shots of Bacardi 151 do the trick for me, will have to check into Jinx's solution. Might be cheaper on me in the long run SPAM;D

I don't know wiz. Some of those herbal(and chemical) remedies can be pretty expensive. Why not try something like Yoga. It is supposed to put your mind and body at ease... make you relaxed mentally and physically. I have never tried it, but many people swear by it.
Ok, about the Melatonin sleeping pills I posted above, a 120 tablet bottle cost about $ 7 to 8 - less than $10. SPAMAbout .08 to 10 cents each, taking one each night = 3.00 $ per mo.
Really don't see how you can get a good nights sleep ( without some problems ) SPAMfor any less. SPAMI took them regularly for about 3 yrs and still do occaisionally when extremely tired , nervous, upset, stressed out, or just plain mad as hell about something. They do the trick every time.
But to each his own, I guess. If anyone tries them, please post back the results .
