CD Copying May Be Legal !

SPAM Record companies' efforts to protect CDs against digital copying are beginning to draw scrutiny from lawmakers concerned that the plans might violate the law.
SPAMA 1992 law allows music listeners to make some personal digital copies of their music. In return, recording companies collect royalties on the blank media used for this purpose.
Wonder why this is just now being published ? SPAMThe RIAA bunch had no comment.

o yea...in the game licenses tehy say you are allowed to take 1 backup for yourself, CD-Copy protection violates this...lets all go and sue SPAMthe game companies!!!

only some games allow you to make a backup... you just have to read the fine print;)
