"The SiS Xabre 600 brings with it an improved vertex driver called Xminator-II which is the hardware optimized Vertexlizer engine. It arranges most of the instruction calls for the Vertex Shader depending on whether to use the Xabre GPU or your CPU processor to process the data. Being software this driver can be updated.

The faster your processor works the quicker it processes vertex data. This design reduces the cost of making the vertex shader and helps keep the size of the GPU down further reducing costs. So the performance of the SiS Xabre 600 depends on the speed of your processor."
