Accurateimage::I received the new A7N8X/dx mobo Friday.
I set this thing up on a test bed and after trying every trick I could think of, this this is DOA. Everything comes on like it should, and before post it shuts itself off. Tried different everything same thing.
Some day I will stop purchasing stuff from NewEgg.
I get more DOA stuff from them than any vender I have ever delt with.
I attempted to RMA the board and get credit.
They have enforced a policy that anyone that returns a product for any reason, and want credit for the return, NewEgg will charge the purchaser 15% of the original sales price.
This was gonna cost me over $23.00 just to return this mobo and get credit. #$%^&*(
So I have no alternative but to return it for exchange and take my chances on getting a new one.

Wow, hate to hear that BJ. :(
I've ordered from newegg for years and only had one bad thing from them. A hard drive about 2 years ago. Called them up and they sent a new one right away. Oh yea, the last thing I ordered from them was a coolermaster heat pipe. The HSF was in perfect condition but the little pack of thermal paste had been opened and used up.
I was a little miffed at first but since the HSF was fine I let it slide. Overall, I've ordered thousands of dollars of stuff from them and have been pretty happy with it all. However, I will pay closer attention to the stuff when it arrives from now on. Just in case. :)

That is why I buy my mobo's local only with a warrenty at fry's. I do not mind spending the extra money on it. The only item in my pc building over the years I have had crap out is mobo's of various makes and models. Frys has an awsome policy on them and if it craps out for any reason within 2 years they replace it no questions asked and I either get the same one or if they do not make it anymore I get a board of equal value that I originally paid even if the board is no longer made or worth 5 cents, I still get the full amount back!

Not sure, you have to buyt he warrenty at time of purchase. Cost me $29.99 for 2 years and man I tell ya I have used it probably 8-10 times since it came out on different makes and models and it is worth it's weight in gold when your mobo takes a crap and you can take it out, drive down the street and get a new one at no cost :)
