starting filesharing on network

I have a netgear router

We have a "dumb" terminal and we want to set up network sharing

We all have XP how do we set it up?

should be easy
right click on the folders/drives you want to share
go to Sharing and Security
then
simply ignore the security risks and enable sharing

then how do i acces the stuff?
