for simple performance reasons.. should i use NTFS or FAT?
i thought that NTFS had some issues.. and was only benificial for security concerns.
tell me why i wouldnt want to use NTFS..
and why i should chose NTFS over FAT32

NTFS is faster and more secure. go with it
Well SinnopS is right
If you need to communicate with fat32 machines or use as fileserver
it could be good to make a fat32 partition as well.

I still would use NTFS. FAT32 has some bugs in it and it is slower than NTFS...

Hey now, what OS do you want... SPAMYou do realize that Windows 2000 will work with FAT32 and NTFS, but Windows 98 will ONLY work with FAT32.
For simple performance reasons go with NTFS.
If you want to talk to other machines using FAT go with FAT or st least have a FAT partion.
