Ok heres soething I found on the Atomic website

Confirmed: GeForce 4 in February 7/Jan/2002
Speculation abounds on the release date of the fabled NV25 and NV17, also known as GeForce 4 and GeForce 4 MX. Until now, all commentary you've seen on various gaming websites has been rumour and innuendo. We weren't satisfied with this, and so we sent the Atomic Spy Ring to work. Thanks to their dedication, Atomic can now officially reveal that yes, both the GeForce 4 and the GeForce 4 MX will ship in to stores in early February.

Our spies also managed to find out another interesting fact; Nvidia has ceased production of the Ti 500 chipset. Now that's one quick product lifecycle. The world's early adopters must feel real good right about now, knowing their 'state of the art' graphics card that cost them around a grand just two months ago, is now nothing more than yesterday's fad. Still, it's a darn sight better than a TNT2 M64, which is the card installed in the computer I'm writing this on.
