What is the best equipment to use in order to display on a 57" Sony Widescreen Projection television. I'll be getting the ATI 9700 Pro AGP. I've seen some scan converters but unsure if they are the best picture quality. I've also seen some people use S-Video to display their screen, but it comes out blurry. I'm looking for something that will be clear and crisp if possible. Has any been successful in this area?

to be as crisp as the resolution on a computer monitor, a HDTV is one of the only solutions
LCD and plasma screens are also high in resolution

so it isnt just about the codec chipset that gives you the best quality, it is also about the TV itself

a usual rear-projection tv isnt high in quality
therefor, no matter how high the quality of chipset and the connection you use (s-video for example) it all comes down to pixels on the TV

basicaly... most of the TV out are about the same quality, most uses the philips codec chip such as Philips 7108

ATI Radeon 9700 pro has good tv-out
but like i said, you can only expect so much out of a tv
best with HDTV

im sure there are a few tv-out cards that work superbly well with 57 inch tv but i just cant think of any right off the head right now...
