OK, I need some major help with this motherboard I've been given... SPAMIt's a BXPro PC100
AT form factor Slot 1(but using slocket) Onboard SIS 6326 AGP w/ 8M Onboard Soundpro HTI869V+ 3 SDRAM slots 3 PCI, 2 ISA

The deal is, I was given this motherboard, and I was finally able to get a PGA Celeron to work with my slocket. SPAMThe slocket does need a new coil on it, but I plan on getting it Monday. SPAMAs for the motherboard, I don't know what any of the jumpers do, and I don't know where to connect the video, com ports, etc. SPAMFinally, I don't have the USB or Sound connections. SPAMSo if someone can help me, maybe tell me where I can find some manuals.

Would you happen to know who the manufacturer of the motherboard is? SPAMWhat is the string of characters that appears on the bottom left corner of your screen when you boot up?

Without MoBo reference it will probally be a guessing game on jumpers. I'm not sure I understand the situation, but if you have onbd AGP graphics, shouldn't you readily discern the mon connection ?
If you have a spare audio bd use it to start with. If you have a dig cam , take a few pics, jpeg them and put them on here, maybe someone can go from there.
Also use a spare graphics bd if you have one, it's not necessary to use the integrated A/V.

A shot of the board and the slocket.

http://64.53.95.207/bxpro/ChipsetVideo.jpg
Here's a shot of the chipset and video. SPAMThe chipset is an SiS 5600. SPAMI would take the HS off again to show you, but the thing is basicly glued on the chip, and kills my fingers to pry it out...

http://64.53.95.207/bxpro/VRAMConnections.jpg
Here is a shot of the connections I have to use for COM, Video, parallel port, and sound.

(Sorry if some of the pictures aren't the greatest, my batteries were going dead...)

I tried to find any type of model number, but all I see is the BX PRO things.

I have found some drivers for the SiS stuff, but I would like to find the specfic drivers if there were any made.

What??? Well, this post is WAY out of day. I now have it running a PII266. One of my friends used to run a MB just like this and gave me his old burt out one along with his connectors. Though he couldn't find the sound one, I got the USB, PS/2 and IR ports... Other then this MB having some minor problems(or just being a POS) It's really not all that bad. Makes a decent BEOS box :P
