....er....dun tease me leh...me juz newbie
but 4800 is quite new...compared to 9700 but its cheaper than 4600(WTF)

all the 4800 is, is an 8x agp version of the 4600. It is cheaper for the basic design is old. The 9700 will absolutey destroy a 4800 in benchmarks both overclocked and non overclocked.

it's not lousy if you don't compare it to a 9700.where are you getting those prices they are deffinatly overpriced if that is the U.S.

yeah I've sold a few of these 4800's (they ship as Ti 4600 with 8x AGP -NV28, in North America) and they are more than anything a bit disappointing in appearance - small pcb and teeny little gpu cooler.... you guys are paying too much though over in europe they are going for about 170 euros....

The Radeon 9500 is the same as a 9700, except with 128-bit memory while the 9700 has 256-bit memory. The 9500's and 9500 Pro's are usually compared to the 4200's because the 4400's often beat them and the 4600's blow them away.
