It's about time for me to pitch in here at twl.. i just threw down way too much.. $70.. on it.. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=products/details&CRID=6&CONTENTID=5006&countryid=19&languageid=1 Yes... full retail... but I get 2 weeks to decide if i like it, and i'm beginning to be happy that i didn't buy it online. First, I bought this mouse thinking that it would be beneficial to my wrist.. maybe i have to break my wrist in or something.
Range - My first cordless mouse but the radio waves reach 10 yards or so, i didn't measure but it's plenty, through objects etc. 10/10
Buttom placement - Couldn't be worse  - the wheel is off to the left and your finger goes out of the way to get it.. you also have a hard time finding it because it's soo small, also you accidently hit the right click and when you want to right click you move the ball. 3/10
Comfort - I was originaly looking for microsofts trackball explorer.. but every store was out of stock.. I threw $70 at this because it felt more comfortable at the store, maybe the m$ would have been better in the long run.. i has a nice feel but is quite big.. 7.5/10
Other info - very heavy, 2 aa batteries, wheel doesnt work in some apps, other than checking battery level and customizing buttons, useless software that sticks its little icon in the systray..
Conclusion - My first trackball so i have nothing to compare it to, I got it yesturday afternoon so maybe i'll get to like it, though so far it doesnt look good, would i buy it again? :shake: Just look at the right click in the picture, IRL it looks even smaller. Overall 6/10
