I traveled to the Windy City today to become part of the Comdex experience. SPAMI would have to say that it’s not all that it is cracked up to be. SPAMMost of the products were business-to-business solutions. SPAMThere was only one hardware booth in the whole show. SPAMThe largest booths were Computer Associates, Cingular Wireless, Blackberry, Mercedes Benz, and Xybernaut Corp.
I was very impressed with the Blackberry product. SPAMIt is a small hand held device that replaces your PDA and cell phone. SPAMSupposedly, it can work with almost any wireless provider. SPAMI entered in the drawing for one, maybe I will win!
I would have to say that the show was good for being free. SPAMI probably would not have paid too much to come to it. SPAMIf you are serious about going to a show like this, consider going to CES (consumer electronics show) instead of Comdex. SPAMThat’s just my two cents.
