No man. This was not a worthless thread. I found it to be worth good reading. At least you're bringing some life the the General Board. Don't worry about what he says man.

I don't know. Maybe it's just me. But that lady wrote that article as if she was pretending to know what she was talking about.

I still can't figure it out... People who think they know business seem to also think they are the leading experts on computers.

Dell takes trade-ins. It also helps customers sell old machines, recycles them or donates them to charity. Gateway accepts trade-ins. Both IBM and Hewlett-Packard offer recycling. Apple says it engineers its parts to be recyclable.

i didnt know dell does trade-ins

hmm

That's what I was thinking. (To me) the article is stupid in the sense that the information is common knowledge.

I'm more inclined to think the author just did a "filler" piece because she didn't have anything to write about.

Just bear one thing in mind M4CH1N3. A couple of jobs ago I was teaching people that windows had a shutdown function. Job before last, I had show a guy which side down a CD went so he could install a program (printed side up, shiny side down sir). Last job was even worse (hell desk for multi country software product). Some people were amazed by that article out there. And that's the good news. Bad news is I know a lot of people that probably wouldn't understand it. Darwin said mankind is evolving. I think it's going the other way.

i think it would be wise to utilize the prison population for such purpose...

ive been thinking of trading in my P2-300MHz comp to dell...
pay like 1000 more for a decent 2.53GHz P4...
