I was given an Omnipower Omni 1250 LAN battery backup system. SPAMIt looks rather old, but backup is backup...

My question...is it compatable with Windows 2000. SPAMIt has that screen that shows the status of the UPS system, and I want to know if this one will.

Also, anyone know the time this thing could run. SPAMThe battery in it is a lawnmower 12volt with 4 plugs on the back.

Man,

Cant find anything on it with the info you gave. Is there a model number or serial number on the back, might help. Other than that I haven't a clue. Is pretty old.

I've got an old rack mount Smart UPS 1400 and when the power goes out I have enough time to shutdown all my equipment and that's about it.

The front only says Omnipower AC Line Battery Backup

The back has the same thing, then Model Number - Omni 1250 LAN.

it wont hurt to try using it on win2k. win2k is especially good at detecting hardware and was til recently, the preference for businesses with small networks, so if any of the last several OS's support it, it will be win2k.

i couldn't find any info on it, but i didn't spend too much time lookin, as i gotta go soon.

I had found their site right after I posted my last message, just never updated my post... SPAMAnd then after my wreck, I've been busy with other stuff. SPAMIt wasn't my fault, but still alot of crap to go through...
