yeah, that was a previously released screenshot, photoshoped with a buy menu, believe me HL2 had a buy menu, it would look better then THAT

from what i gathered around the net it seems that this 700 Mb hl2 file is the hl2 tech demo valve showed us at e3.

its meant to show us the phisiques of the game

so this file is more likely to be that working tech demo itself

i wish smone has finished the DL to give us some more info on that,personally my DL job hasnt finished yet.

i have that movie on my other comp i think.. looks familiar.. so far it looks like the game focuses primarily on physics tricks. In the movies they don't do much shooting of the guys, but doing stuff to inanimate objects that end up killing enemies. :rolleyes: IMO the graphics look a little dull.

but hes right more and more companies and getting shares with nvidia and ati so they want people to buy the best vid card by saying

our game has great grpahics but you need ........

300$ in their pockets on wall street :)

8) I've got a version thats 1.32gb in a .tar, and then .rar file, once unzipped fully its 3.2 GB! its called Half.Life.2.Beta-ANON, seems to be the real deal but i'm having difficulties getting into the game from the menu screen.

What you have to do is go into console and then go map for instance the most famous one e3_techdemo2 it will automatically fill it in for you though

there are so many errors in it though triggeres not working and the such.......

anyway

its pretty fun im still trying to figure out what the secondary fire on the psy gun does
