canon warranty and lack of customer service!!

Well I'm pissed and would like to take my camcorder and shove it up all of Canon's management ass! They are like broke records in the california repair facility. They won't repair my camera unless I give them $150 for a 6 month old camera...I wish an american company would make a decent camcorder, maybe Harley Davidson...at least you would know you are getting quality!!!!


damn i'm mad...to make it worse, their sorry ass websit doesn't even work well enough for me to complain via e-mail...sorry bastards!

well thought out, constructive posting. actually, my friend's cannon digi-cam (still shot) is constantly getting messed up (known issue that messes up the lens threading) and they have replaced it promptly on mulitple occasions, over a year after his purchase, at times getting it back, fixed (as well as possible given the defect), the same week it was shipped out by him. companies mess up sometimes. cannon has a good rep, i wouldn't drop them cause of this guy. (oh yeah, they make good cameras as well)
