Adrian Lamo is a greyhat cracker, he cracked various big corporations networks, and told them how to fix their holes, he has caused no real damage, except some embaressment to the publicised companies
After doing this to the NYT, they initiated an FBI investigation on him
Right or wrong?
I think it's wrong, i'm not American (UK) btw, but, i think the FBI could spend their time better than hunting down a good guy, i know he broke the/several laws, but how many people can say they have never broken any law, even with good intention
All this does is make people less likely to want to help, if this is what happens when you try to help, you might as well not bother, i hope someone finds a new exploit in the NYT and use it against them
