geforce fx 5800 ultra wont boot

im mad as hell i cant seem to get my fx 5800 ultra to work
im useing windows xp i can get a display when i turn on my pc and it tells me my bios letters are missing then when xp started i loading the drivers once the drivers would load it restarts

my rig is

asus a7v8x
1 gig ram
350 watt power
wd 80 hd

i tryed new 4-1 and updtaed my agp drivers

Take it back. It's loud and slow. Get an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro or 9800 Pro and you'll be much happier, plus they don't take up 2 slots and are quiet. Did I mention they are QUIET?
