LCD as a game screen

Hey, I have a Texas Instruments Travelmate 4000E 9" color LCD screen and i'm looking into using it to display my video console outputs. N64, Xbox, Ps1 etc.

I was thinking it would be as easy as attaching the cables to some sort of A/V box and powering the screen. now i'm not so sure.

sounds like an old screen, and if it's not very good or new, it would probably smear and stuff.. but i'm not an expert on that stuff.. can't even figure out how to use s-video
