I have a account on a windows 2000 network that does not have admin privaledes. I want to make another user but the group policy editor is blocked.......Is there a way to use the reg editor (which i can use) to make another user that i can logon to?

hmm....i highly highly doubt you'll be able to do that. especially through red edit. i dont think your school is dumb enough for something like that to happen

it doesn't have anything to do with the school being dumb.. the OS prohibits retarded behavior like that.. they don't store this sort of password in the registry.

you shouldn't be trying to hack your school computers. Google is your friend for finding out how to break locally stored Win passwords. i've got a couple of CDs that can do it in 13 seconds for just about any password on windows. but i use it don't break into computers/networks I don't own or have permission to mess with. we're not a happy-hacking help service. topic locked
