ok listen

how old are your kids?

If they are young enough you can enforce this hard enough i can think of quite a few ways to get past it even if you do block the ports

I am 14 almost 15 i have been using im's since i was 11....so far i have not been molested, beaten, stalked, raped, etc. My parents just said DONT or else they told me what could happen if i did.

Just try it then key log your kids computers and look at the logs (dl trillian for them so you may examine the logs) give them a chance under supervision

If they keep it up cut em off

Sorry about the lecture on your kids but its just my pov

i was going to say that as i'm half way between little kid and adult so i see both sides of the story. if they're giving out personal info to people though that's not ok imo.. i guard phone # with my life, mostly because i don't want em calling me, waste of time.
