View Full Version : Wall Mounting a switch

Does anyone know any switches 16 port that can be vertically wall mounted. We're going to put a switch in the hall closet and network the rest of the house.

I'm thinking of getting this:

I see the little bag with the screws in the second picture. Anyone know what they're for (maybe rack mount?). They look like wall screws.

Almost all switches can be wall mounted. From the looks of those screws, it can definetly be wall mounted. My 4-port Netgear hub has two holes on the bottom of it where you can slide it onto two screws that have been screwed into something.

some plywood, nylon string and a few nails or wood screws can make any switch wall mounted. It just depends on how pretty you want it :P
