Ive been trying to setup a FTP server and....due to my router it has failed horribly.

Netgear fvs318
Cable modem

What ports and settings and program would you guys reccomend for me to setup an ftp server to have access to at school?

Install ServU FTP.
Setup ServU FTP with a user account.
Forward port 21 on your router to your pc.
Access FTP from school
Done!

filezilla has got to be the most convenient, easy to use ftp server (though not FULLY featured) for win32. anyone can set it up in a matter of minutes.
