A total of 450 California positions will be eliminated as AOL continues to lose more than simply subscribers and their name after the Time Warner breakup. AOL says they are cutting the jobs to cut costs among other reasons. Not to worry though; When you charge millions of people $21.95 (like AOL does) for standard dial-up money isn't too much of an issue.
