I have a CD that runs a Powerpoint Presentation with Music in the Back-Ground.
It runs fine on every computer but one. SPAMWhen I run it the slides are fine but the music cuts in and out.
Can something be done to stop this from happening?
The operating system is Windows 98.

What speed CDROM is it? How much memory does the system have?
Sounds to me like your either running out of resources on the system or the CD is too slow to keep up with it all.
Or the CDROM may need cleaning. You can use a standard Audio CD Cleaner to clean your CDROM. May or may not help.
This kinda sounds like your running low on memory... yeah it has happened to me a couple of times to, and i have win98 as well. SPAMI added onto my memory capacity, and it then ran smooth. SPAMBut that might not be the case for you though, try that and see what happenes.

Well if it is your CD you can tell real fast if you have the hard drive space. SPAMCopy your CD to the hard drive and play it from there. SPAMIf it works fine you found your problem. SPAMIf it still does it you have one less thing to to blame the problem on. SPAMAnd I agree that more memory would propably help in that instance.
