Wow, our 10,000th post came and went and I did not even see who got it. SPAMI was planning on giving a prize to whomever posted it, oh well. SPAMI guess I will have to do it for the 20,000 or 100000th post. :)

Keefe: Omega was the 10000th and 10001st poster. I just did a search only changing it to ALL inclusive of guests, and saw how many posts there were at the time 10045, and he was 45th last and 46th last (the 10000 spot) poster. i have included a screenshot.

Heh, but that is pretty cool that Netsmog has grown so much, and we're now at over 10,000 posts. I feel like I'm finally giving something back to society.

i generally stick to the general board and sometimes go into the programming & hacking boards, normally there either is no new posts, a reply to the top few posts or maybe a new thread

out of those 10,000 posts how many are the word association threads :(

i cant remember which thread said it but we need more people who are active and have sommat to say, more high quality discussions :)

SPAMBefore that, i didnt have a post for like 2 months!!!! SPAMWith all that is going on at NS right now, with the move and all, i think the site will do good for now, and better in the future!

There are alot of high quality discussions going on, just not in this thread, or maybe the word association thread, but they are still fun to me. SPAM SPAMOf course I watch my de-frag screen work too. ;D SPAMRight now there is a noob modder asking for tips and suggestions, for example, in another thread. SPAMSome dude is using toothpaste for cooling compound in the weird experiments thread, and I have had questions answered or found links from other previously hot threads. SPAMYeah a lot of just dinking around take place here, but so what? SPAMWe are still here to answer the good questions and discuss the good topics as they pop up. SPAMMy .02

you both got a pretty good point here, but aren't we kinda straying from this thread's topic. SPAMI wonder where we are going be be, postwise, when we move to hardware pub. SPAMI think that the posts will increase in number as well as a variety the subjects that will be discussed. SPAMHopefully they will not become bland or worthless, then we would all get tired of the same old thing, but i highly doubt that that will happen!

I don't too much is going to change, but whatever does change will change for the better. For example, the phpBB will be faster with more features. That's a plus. Keep posting and starting new threads - it can only make it more interesting.

I got a question, whats a phpBB mean? SPAMIs it similar to a YaBB? SPAMIf so, what does it mean? SPAMI see them associated with forums, but I am clueless beyond, it must be some kind of program or forum protocol?

It's basically just a different bulletin board program, based of running php (it stands for php bulletin board, if you didn't figure that out). There's lots of competition for forum software, some free, some quite expensive, but in the end, it comes down to personal preference, for the most part (and maybe one's budget).
