Not quite sure why I have all the cards... SPAMI guess it's because I like to restore computers, so I like to keep most of the cards I get just encase I get a computer that it could of gone in... SPAMAnd I didn't buy all this stuff. SPAMAlot of it I got from my school. SPAMI either could get parts out of computers before they where sent off, or I was somtimes able to get the whole thing. SPAMAlso, alot of the parts are from people who gave me old computer parts, like after they upgrade.

I got all my stuff from the past 3 systems I've had. and a crappy system my dad found on the street (actually two, an old 166 and a 8088 ). Anyways, if I tried to take anything from my high schools computer repair classroom, even if it was old and broke, the teacher would cut my hand off. SPAM:)

Oh contraire, SPAMI feel anything you can scrounge, dig out of the trash, or otherwise aquire, short of stealing, (stealing is bad) is part of your gear pile. SPAMI've scavanged LEDs and switches from old stereos, cables, power cords, cd roms, floppy drives etc from others "junk". SPAMIf you didn't break a law getting it, I feel it "counts". ;D

Well, my CIS teacher gave me some stuff...mainly older computers. SPAMBut I did get a nice slot 1 motherboard from him.

Most of my cards are from my massmedia teacher. SPAMMainly SPAMsoundcards, Networking cards, harddrives, CD-ROMs, etc from junked computers to be thrown away.

I didn't steal my stuff SPAM>:(

I can rarely afford to just keep hardware lying around. I always have to sell it in order to upgrade my current system as much as I've determined that I "have" to. Also, a bunch of the stuff I've gotten over the years didn't come in anything other than a normal cardboard box, or static bag (OEM), so it's not up there either. Consequently, this is pretty much a picture of the boxes from stuff that I'm using right now (I'm big on keeping boxes). Also, if anyone feels like sending me a decent digital camera I'll get on taking some decent pictures. ;)

Ive notice the different coloration in the captions of all of you stuff in the closet....do the different colors or highlighted ones make a difference into what is what (in use, never used, very important) just wondering about that, because im always curious...

No, I just tried to make everything readable. I used white text for the dark background, black text on light background, and black text with white outline on a mixed background. I'm using everything there except for the Voodoo 3 3000 PCI.

Yeah that would be awsome but they would be very hard to work with and you would need very small tools as the whole console itself is only 5" x 5"! SPAMOne mod that i could think of for a gaming system would have to be and optical sensory directional pad...kinda like an optical mouse...it would be fairly easy actually! SPAMIm thinking about puting some blue LEDs in the back of my PS2 because the fan is very visible from the back and it would look pretty cool in there!

Speaking of fire hazards, I'm noticing the can of Zippo lighter fluid on the edge of the ledge above all the electronics (well, above the monitor mostly). Maybe he's just trying to collect insurance money, though ;).
