Who can be the first to name this?
Okay, this isn't just any computer, this is a very important one, and so I am not makin this impossible.
I just want to see who will be the first one to be able to tell me what this is a picture of, specifically. This should be interesting. I'll give clues as time progresses.

Re: Who can be the first to name this?
bah :P
Earth Simulator by NEC :P
The Earth Simulator build by NEC is the new #1.
It has a record lead to the #2 of a factor of almost 5 in Linpack performance.
It equals the sum of the Linpack performance of the next 12 systems.
Only on the June 1999 TOP500 list did the sum of all 500 systems on the list exceed the performance level of the ES. Before this the aggregate performance of all 500 system was smaller then 30TF/s.

Re: Who can be the first to name this?
Maybe (likely) I missed something, but what exactly does the "Earth Computer" do? Aka, what is its main function.
