well thats one way to encourage TWL members to vote...haha, its like bootcamp...it doesnt make u wanna stop gettin tougher, it makes you a hell of a lot strong, mentally for the most part, but that can be as strong, or even strong in most case scenarios.

holy crap guys....MH has a 57 vote lead...c'mon now...were letting up, im voting every 11 mins on the min! Now i dont want any discomfort between voting for twl and vw, but i mean i think both sites are worthy of that #1 spot, ill vote for both, but i got school starting up in 3 days, so you guys will have to put alot of effort into voting, dont worry, MH will wish they never started to compete...tell them to just bring it on...

Yeah, we have some good potential. It's just that everyone got comfortable and stopped voting. Now we addressing the problem and cutting their lead at a decent rate. We'll see who is the first to 2000. I have offered the challenge on their site. Just remember to take it all light-hearted.
the only problem that i think we have as a voting unit is that we do not realize our potention with voting, being 650 + members strong. Our numbers would sky rocket throught the roof!

yeah, once you click the "click here to proceed" it counts your vote...oh another thing, its every 11 minutes that it clears your ip, so that u can vote again :biggrin:. Also, if you look at your url when it comes to the top sites, and at the end of your url, it reads .cfm, the vote didnt count for whatever reason. However, if it ended in an .html, it has counted

What does the "out this month" figure count at the top 50 tech sites ?
that applys to the people that directly click on TWL's or other peoples sites from the Top 50 sites web page. Ex. Say I saw TWL in first place, from that site, i would click on the hyperlink to check out what the #1 site is really made of.

We currently have the lead by 18 votes, and me and vee_ess will work on keepin the lead, but I ask of you guys to vote whenever you get the chance as well. I am sure that we can easily have this month in first place the entire month becuase Monster Hardware is no where to be found! :lol:

vee_ess, true that there really isnt a point into voting now, since there is not going to be any competition. But on the plus side, we get the first place position. This means more ppl to visit the site, and more members we get, which means more posts, and the higher number mine will be! If you wanna think about it that way...

I still say we should vote. We want to keep the number one spot. Plus, I went to Google, and that was one of the top 3 or 4 so its got very very good ranking.

They are up by seven...I think that now that Monster Hardware is out of the scene, competition isnt as tuff...thus ppl are tending to let up greatly....resulting in bitbenderforums lead.

I kinda feel sorry for Monster, too, as they have been an aspiring site. Let me see what is going on with the Top Sites if I can.
- It worked for me...we are number 8.
Well we are at # 7 as of now...the site is workin fine for now. We are 110 votes shy of first place...the farthest we have ever been period I believe, when voting. I suggest a move to a more popular, more effective voting site if possible?
Havn't been voting for a while but today I've been doing some

they should say something like "Click here to vote for ..." instead of just click here to proceed
Yes, that is what you click to vote for techwarelabs...you can see that it is for techwarelabs because the url will read "topsites.cgi?keefe007" and it is set for every 10 mins to erase your IP, so you can vote every 10 minutes. When voting, if the url after you have clicked on it reads at the end, ".cfm" the vote did not count, however, if the url at the end reads ".html" it did count the vote. That should clear things up for ya man.

BitBender doesn't have enough to play the "fair" way, I believe. We however, have more steam than anyone that we can put out if we need. At one point we were putting over 100 votes per day for almost a week. We basically own that topsites for the time being. Look at anyone on the top ten, none of those sites have enough to get on the top ten, if voting once a day.
I've been doing like 20-30 a day >:)
we're like 20 ahead.

I don't think they changed the look at all; I think you are referring to the .cfm page that comes up occassionally when it think you have already voted.
