soyo SYK7V Dragon Plus & Alpha PAL 8045

does anybody know if the alpha cooler fits the soyo? i´m currently assembling a system for a friend and he would prefer this combination.so i got some pics of the soyo and now i´m not sure if the 8cm with heatsink will fit because some capacitors near the socket could interfere. if you got the combo running or have seen a link or thread anywhere related to this, please post. thanx :D

I don't know for sure, but it looks extremely close to me. SPAMIs the DIMM next to the proc DIMM 1 or DIMM 3? SPAMIf it's 3, then you might have some more extra space on that side.

Got my tape measure out :D

you are looking at an 85mm clearance between the capacitors and Dimm3

Once my silverado is in place I have 10mm clear on the capactors side and 15mm on the Dimm3 side.

Need more measurements give me a shout
