Last night i went to CompUSA and I got all three flavors of RedHat 7.1 for a penny each. SPAMI also got a VB book for a penny. SPAMThere was some kind of problem with their system. I heard about it on another hot deals site.

Did they actually honor that price and did you receive the software? SPAMI had something like this happen to me on Dell's website. SPAMThey had this promo-gone-bad for the Palm M105. SPAMThey were listed on the site as $5 each! SPAMI ordered 5. SPAMIt would have been honored if it weren't for the fact that some idiot decided to order 250 of them! *sigh* It would've been nice.

Yeah they actually honored it, the guy looked a little weird after it came up as 1 cent but he never said anything...

I liked when one site had an Elsa Gladiac 2 Ultra (when it was like, $500), for like, $150 or something (not exactly sure what it was). SPAMI ordered one, and they replied a few days later stating that it was a misprint, but for anyone who ordered one, they were giving like, $20 off the price that it was suposed to be, which was probably $450. SPAMNeedless to say, I didn't have $430, so I didn't get one :-(.

My kid is into that "Harry Potter" stuff and we all know that they are pushing those things HUGE for X-Mas sales. SPAMWell, most of the Harry Potter items are kind-of expensive. SPAMI went into a 99 cents store the other day and it was one of those stores where literally EVERYTHING is 99 cents. SPAMHere was some Harry Potter books laying in an area where there were no other books. SPAMPlus, there was absolutely no other Harry Potter itmes in the store. SPAMI walked up to the counter to turn them in as a lost item. SPAMThe gal behind the counter did not speak or understand english very well. SPAMShe took the books and charged me 99 cents for each one! SPAMI must admit, I took the deal and left. SPAMI figure, as often as we get overcharged and ripped off for the things we buy......why not???
