Cert21.com. freecomptia.com(all compTIA certs exam), ucertify.com is good for starting preparation for all compTIA exam. Apart from exam simulation A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide (5th edition) and Mike Meyers' A+ Certification Passport, Second Edition study guide are best for preparation. I used this and read by heart all, although i didn't spare much time with ucertify but here questions are from all topics.

If I can also jump into this thread :/
Those sites have a lot of questions, prep for exams. Are there any that do the teaching without paying 100's of $£?

Yo Wes go to www.braindumpcentral.com
Some questions on there are actually on the test.
I took the A+ test and passed the hardware objective.
I'm going to take OS sometime.
It's not as hard as you think, but youll still have to put some time into
studying.

I took an A+ class in high school....
I was confindent going in (aren't we all), but was surprised at the difficulty of the questions (the test is smart). However, I passed and have the A+!

I took the A+ a few years ago after a short training class, and passed it with higher marks than my instructor - who took it at the same time. It's not that I know more about computers than him - he's been doing this for a LONG time - it's that I know the test better. If you have a chance to take practice tests, do them over and over again so you get a feel for the way that questions are worded and the diagrams look. Like Jason425 said, the test is surprisingly hard for an entry level certification test.
