I have a cisco DSL modem, I would like to put the internet on my sons computer, how can i do this. Can i add another NIC card to my computer and send it to my son???
Here are some things that might help
Install your own home network (http://home.soneraplaza.nl/mw/prive/elkroeske.knor/networks.htm)
Description of Internet Connection Sharing (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q234/8/15.ASP)

I've got the Netgear one, it work's very well. SPAMI wish the filters were easier to change, however.

Yes, you can put 2 NIC in the PC conected to internet.
The NIC to de DSL w/tcp protocol and obtain a IP automatic
The NIC conected to you son w/tcp and especifi a IP number (ej. 192.168.0.1) your son PC whith a IP number such 192.168.0.2
then dounload WINGATE or PROXY++ (Wingate work 100% OK!)
ok, ok, yust e-mail me and y send a copy of Wingate 3.0
good luck

There's also AnalogX Proxy which is free and works fine
http://www.analogx.com
If you're running Win98SE (Second Edition) it comes with ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) and that works as well and is free also SPAM;D
I use a program called Proxy+ - it's free and works great.
I'm using just the sharing program of SPAMwin 98 .
Workes fine with me (tried on 6 computers) but i want to use linux on my server . has anyone got experiance with it ?
