Wierd problem, for me anyway...

:confused: Ok, i have a linksys etherfast modem with 4 port switch. Im sharing an internet on 3 computers. Two desktops with XP and one with ME. I have enabled file sharing. The laptop can access XP#2 but not XP#1, when i try to access #1 it says "location does not exist on network". Both XPs can access files on any computer. The XPs can share printers between them, but the ME cant access any printer.

I want to be able to access all files and print from my ME. Any way i can? :confused:
(both XPs are connexted to Lexmark 1600).

for the printer you have to go to properties of the printer on the machine it's connected to. Install additional drivers and add the ones for ME, even though it's an xp machine, otherwise the ME computer won't be able to print. as far as the file sharing make sure you have something shared out on the computer that it can't access. I always had a problem until i had an active share. Best bet would be to get rid of ME. Upgrade that computer to XP if possible. It's not the best OS around and it's really problamatic with networking from what I know.

Thx. It seems ill just have to install XP on the laptop.
