anyone proud of their pets?



we have two dogs running around our place.

this one is Pandie. she is a 13 year old cocker/pomeranian mix. she has congestive heart failure, so she is our lazy dog. but she still acts like a puppy when shes not too winded to move.

this one is China. she is a 4 month old lab/pit bull mix. we just brought her home from the shelter on saturday. she has an upper respitory infection, so she is in quarantine for right now. we can't have the old feeble doggie getting that infection.

neither are really dying. alot of old dogs get congestive heart failure, its just like it is in humans. i've had her for 13 years.

the puppy just has kennel cough. its like the common cold. shes on medicine, and should be better in a week or so. kennel cough flys around shelters.

well, a sad update.

we had to put Pandie down yesterday (4/26/04). her heart condition got worse, so the fluid on her lungs got worse too. she could barely breathe, and was coughing almost constantly since friday night.

she will be missed.

Sorry to hear about that man. I know that stuff is never easy. I hope all goes well with the puppy.
