im sorry, wont happen again.... I have a question, Is the need of more memory due to the new 80G hard disk or due to windows xp, so, if i install a lighter version of windows, will it be allright, if so which is recommended? THANKS AGAIN

Windows xp needs 128 to run 256 to run smoothly and higher for best performance
run 98 if this is a problem
ram is cheap these days

absolutely get more ram and do not switch back to 98... you can go to the control panel, go to system and performance and disable some goodies. Go to start, run and type msconfig and you can get rid of some things. You owe it to yourself to get more ram. You can hardly buy computers with 128mb of ram anymore.
