Default FTP localhost

I keep getting connections from 127.0.0.1 to my ftp server showing up in my logs................

Im not connecting so this is a little wierd.....

Any ideas?

maybe windows just does that when it gets bored :/

i've seen this occur on windows machines a number of times with a number of ftp servers. I never bothered to really debug it, but my impression was that a browser or other internet enabled gets confused and instead of connecting to whatever website gets stuck in the ftp server (i.e. i've seen all sorts of HTTP protocol commands being entered into the webserver. *shrug*). I wouldn't consider it a big deal, unless it's draining resources. i doubt it's any kind of a security problem (beyond ftp itself)
