Ghanging /Installing GTK-2 themes as non-root

Hello,

Is there a way to change the gtk-2 on RH 9 as a non root user? I downloaded gtkstep (for gtk2) but cant seem to change oiut of the std RH 9 themes. Is this something that is only done by root?

The correct way to do this is unzip the new theme to ~/.themes. Then use switch2 to swich to it.
