network asking for password but none setup

Hey I have a small network between 2 xp systems mine and my fathers and I can access his shared folder but when he tries to get into mine it asks for a password. Thing is I never set up a password! We are going through cable modem through a dlink router. I have looked at everything I could think of but nothing btw he is on xp home I have xp pro. Any advice or help would be appreciated thanks.

make sure you have a folder shared.. or do it from the other comp...

ok well I shared my entire c drive and it now works! he now has access to my entire c drive(dont know if I like that ;)) gonna try with just the shared documents though I could have sworn I set it to shared. thanks

you can set a certain folder to shared by right clicking it and click sharing and security
