Ok i got a 160 gig HD so i could get rid of my 2 60 gig HD's, 2 problems.
1)my 160 gig HD has only like 120gig on it. Where did the other 40 gig go.
2)I cant boot up if i install one of my old HD so i can pull the information off. Im running XP, It goes to memory check screen then freezes or says NTLDR msg comes up or it boots up and dosnt find the other HD. I have tons of stuff that i need to get off of them, they both have no operating systems on them.

how do you expect to boot if both have no operating systems on em...

make sure the jumpers are set right... the 40 gigs goes away in marketing junk.. they trick you.. that's the way it goes..

I have a OS on my 160 that is now the main HD in the computer the
problem is accessing the 2 HDD to pull info off. My computer boots
up regularly in to XP with out one of the other 2 HDD hooked up, but
when i connect them some thing screwy happens

OK FINNALY, It reconizes them but it dosnt it sees that they are there but
it says NTLDR missing... still... do i have to instal XP on each of my old
HD or something I formated one but not the other yet both have same
error...

EDIT: FIXED... ANIME LIBRARY RECOVERED... TY ^^
Guess the deal was now that the jumper cables were mixed up
one with out OS was primary and one with os was secondary...
