As a consumer myself who likes to get the best deal possible and at least get close to what I pay for. We buy these kinds of features because they're suppose to be faster and better. If performance between the two mobile graphics processors is the same while requiring a bigger premium, I would be one aggravated consumer after buying the laptop. In the end, it's pretty piss poor business. Someone ask Nvidia why this has happened at Nvision this week! :nono:

I work for another Clevo reseller, whom I shall not mention, but it's important to realize that the "9800M GT" does NOT require a bigger premium. The price of the card dropped nearly $200 when nVIDIA rebranded it, which is a pretty significant price drop (nearly 1/3 of the original price). It's goofy business, and it's shady enough to have me a bit squeamish, but nVIDIA really wanted to move their old 8800M GTX stock, and this is actually a pretty smart way to do it, all things considered.

This mean 8800 gtx = 9800 gt.
Why did they changed the name ?
