KENWOOD 72X TRUE X CD ROM FOR SALE

Hello!
Gonna be selling this on e-bay unless one of you guys want it first, they have been going in the high $90's + shipping, it is in perfect condition, but I have so many drives I do not need it anymore. Can give you a nero cd shop of hw fast this sick monster is, I have seen 74x+ at the end of tracks. Works fast only on pressed or manufacturer cd's. Let me know if you have any ?'s.

:)

The Kenwood 72x is a true 72x cd rom, not a cdrw. I have no problems proving this drives speed, and it has been proven hundreds of times over to be the fasted cd rom drive in the world, it averages 68X+. Even though it is a 72x drive I see peaks allot of 74x with this baby. Here is a link to a product review of it.

accurateimage 09-20-2002 02:10 AM

It reads them just fine, just does not read them at 72x, more like 30-40

eviltechie 09-20-2002 02:28 AM

oh i see
so only reads burned CDs with a single beam instead of 2...

does it support UDMA66?

well actually reads other cd's with 7 beams *L*, so yeah probably would be be correct. somthing like that anyways. I mainly used it for games only.
