I lost my mouse one time, so I had to surf without it.  No choice.  Keystrokes might help, but I wouldn't want to go through what I had to put up with again.  Imagine you're on a page with 60 links (not an unusually large number for some sites).  You want link #55.  That means you have to hit the tab key 55 times before you get to where you'd like to be!
