Default HELP BADLY NEED HELP NOW!!!!

My computer booted up yesterday, poof error message, cant even click "ok" i try to re install windows cant. REFORMAT my hard drive. And i get this message :/ :/ >


Windows was unable to save all the needed data for the file C:\$Mft. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of you hardware or network (network is fine internet is ok in my whole house my hub is fine.)connection Please try to save this file else where

If you have an answer either post it here or send it to demonking@attbi.com

Use FDisk and re-partition it. That's, by far, what I would try first.

If that doesn't work try "fdisk /mbr". This will reset the master boot record. Good Luck

you might be dead by now, but Vee_ess & Calhoun are correct just remember to boot to a floppy disc or CD with MSDOS.

Default i have the same problem

i have the same problem but i do not want to format because it's a work computer so i can't format is there any other way

boot the comp with the village idiot boot disk (google for it)

fdisk /mbr
fdisk
remove all partitions, remake the main parttion
format it
install windows
