Can anyone tell me the diference between Windows XP Professional and Windows XP Home????  The price is about $100 more for professional, but my boss can not seem to discover why?  Thanks!!

Home and pro are the same except pro has more networking capability and it can run dual processors. I think there are 1 or two other minor differences, I can't remember. If you don't have a real network and don't have duel processors you don't need pro.
As I remember Home will run duel core

With XP home you also get more bloatware ( AOL sign up, etc etc )

XP home cant join to a domain, and doesnt have backup automatically installed. Only differences I can think of.
