Default 2K is having trouble...

hello,

I have now both XP and 2000
I have a doubt for 2K
Every time I want to use the disk cleanup in 2K it takes a VERY long time to actually come in to see what I can erase..
Is this normal or is it something wrong?

By the way, should I get the Service Packs for 2K?
Im using SP2 because I have heard bad stuff about SP3-4...
Are they true or false?
Should I get them?

thanks for the attention

P.S. Cant stand XP! It gets slower every day... (and I actually have a nice PC: 512 MB RAM, AMD Athlon XP 2000+, GeForce 2-64 MB...)

If you use your system for surfing a lot or for installing programs often, it will take a while because of the many temporary files it has to sort through.
