Default Epox releases a BIOS that overcomes AMD multiplier locks

I got this from the Inquirer, it has a download link and everything:

EPOX RECENTLY announced a BIOS for its KT400 boards, branded as the 8K9A, that offers a feature for those wanting to overclock Athlons without changing the processor itself.

Check it out at everyone's favorite rumor mill, the Inquirer.

Asus, MSI, Soyo, ECS, Abit...etc
you all gotta have it!

although does it break any treaties with the CPU makers?

Has anyone asked themselves how a BIOS would be able to bypass cut traces in order to enable changing the multiplier? Assuming it could be done, wouldn't someone have already done it by now?
