Windows 2000 does not come with the handy MSCONFIG.EXE program that Win 98 has. However, you can copy the file from Win 98's
c:\windows\system folder and paste it into Win2k's
c:\winnt\system32 folder. You can ignore the error messages saying that it cannot find config.sys, autoexec.bat,
win.ini, and system.ini files. You'll have access to the programs that execute upon startup though. You can also download
Startup Control Panel program by Mike Lin that operates pretty much like msconfig.exe. You could also try
X-Setup by Xteq Systems. That is also free.
