Default OS questions in the A+ Core certification exam

You asked if there are OS questions in the A+ Core certification exam (or is this just a bad joke)...

I teach both core and OS, and have taught at least 3 of each in the past 4 weeks. I presume that you have been told that the core has some OS questions (??)

Well - Maybe, They aren't really OS questions, but they do ask basic computer booting sequences, how to prepare hard disks for various operating systems, where you can make a DOS boot diskette, and even some very basic binary and network addressing questions.

BTW. The OS exam also has some "hardware" questions, too!

Your best bet is to either study one of the divided study guides; or get hold of a good practice test - use it as a study guide, not to learn the answers.

I have written a paper on studying - and passing certification tests, that I have posted on the http://www.hyperlearn.com web site. It is located on the free tutorial information page. It is titled how to pass the 70-292/296 exams, but the technique works for ANY exam.
